Shopo, a zero commission, mobile app-based marketplace launched by Snapdeal in July 2015, has been listed as one of the Best Apps in India on iOS App Store. The App Store Best of 2015 showcases the year’s most innovative apps and games in terms of services, user base and popularity.
In a span of four months, Shopo which aims to become the largest C2C open marketplace in the country has seen a phenomenal growth with more than 2 million active product listings on the platform already. More than 30,000 small sellers have set up their shop on Shopo, and the app aims to bring more than a million small businesses online in the next 1 year. Shopo’s innovative chat platform makes it very convenient for buyers and sellers to connect and negotiate on the price and delivery

Shopo recently launched an advanced peer-to-peer chat functionality which allows buyers to exchange views, images, and browse simultaneously with their social groups. It also introduced auto generation of product cards for listed products which can be directly shared by users through chat and social media platforms.
