Life is chaotic enough and your home should be the one place where you can find your peace and re-align with yourself. Clutter in the home space can make the sanest of sane irritable. Look around, do you see an ill organized house, stacks of bills, and things piled up rather than stored? Our suggestion: de-clutter right away. We know it’s easier said than done but we have a few hacks up our sleeves that will help you sort your house.
1. Don’t get wired
Does the chaos of wires and chargers make you go mad at the very sight of them? Simply stow phone chargers, laptop chargers in a pretty basket. And while you’re at it, take a few minutes to untangle them.
2. File it up!
Are you always in a fix trying to look for bills and warranties when you need them the most? Put all the warranties and manuals for your appliances in a single folder which are easy to reach when you need them. If you’re one of those who save an entire magazine because of that one article you liked, it’s time to start tearing them and putting them in binders. Let the rest become the shredder’s meal.
3. Get rid of messy drawers
Looking at a messy drawer can be quite testing, especially if the clutter is overflowing out of it. The simplest way to go about it is to get drawer organizers. They are a one-stop-solution to get your drawers organized. They also help you remember what is kept where.
4. Organizing the toiletries
When was the last time you refrained from buying an expensive shampoo because you have too little space in the bathroom? Probably never. As a result, you have a messy bathroom and you probably don’t know where you kept your expensive BB cream. One way to go about this is putting your toiletries in a make-up bag with a handle and hanging it up. You could also convert the idle space above the toilet by adding up a shelved cabinet.
Having sorted your space one room at a time helps. The idea is to bite as much you can chew, so take a deep breath and begin and trust us, once you’re done your de-cluttered home will definitely make way for a more peaceful life.
