Episode 15 At A Glance

From generating digital facades on buildings to digitising one’s own wardrobe, making it accessible on the phone, here’s a glimpse of the mind-blowing pitches in the latest episode.

Startup 1: Gully Labs- Handcrafted Sneakers

Run by Arjun Singh and Animesh Mishra, Gully Labs was born out of the need of bringing forth the nation’s culture. They saw that the Indian audience is a value-conscious market and manufacturing handcrafted premium sneakers, showcasing the Indian culture will definitely resonate with them. From the Olympics to Onam, they’ve brought everything with their sneakers.

Did Gully Labs Get A Deal?

Kunal remarked how he’s met the founders before and every time he meets them, their business has grown and expanded to the next level. Aman and other Sharks appreciated their cool store design in Delhi too. But was it cool enough for them to invest ₹1 crore for 0.5% equity?

Startup 2: Twin- AI-Powered Virtual Try Ons

The next pitch started with a fun entry by Aseem Khanduja, the founder of Twin. Twin is an AI-powered virtual try on app that allows a consumer to create their virtual avatars, add their existing or desired products and mix-match the clothes to pair the outfits on the avatar, before making a purchase. This integrated fashion marketplace seemed to have impressed Kanika as she felt that being a woman, she often faces this struggle.

Did Twin Get A Deal?

Asking for ₹60 lakhs for 1% equity, did Aseem manage to convince the Sharks that digitising the wardrobe is the future?

Startup 3: RCX Light- Digital Facade Company

Run by 3 humble and grounded founders, Ravi Chand Sharma, Ravi Kumar and Prince Kumar from Bihar, RCX Light is a digital facade company that aims to use this technology to light up the buildings of Bharat. Starting off with lighting up a neighbour’s house, it was interesting to see how it led them to become viral as well as bag an opportunity to do a project with the RBI office.

Did RCX Light Get A Deal?

Asking for ₹50 lakhs for 5% equity, were their plans of blending art and light investable enough for the Sharks?
