The young energy and zeal of the entrepreneurs amazed the Sharks and the profitability of the business made it even more lucrative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With an ask of \u20b92 crore for 2% equity in the company, the young entrepreneurs came with a lot of hope but did their wish and ask get fulfilled? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Startup 2: PropFTX- Fractional Real Estate Investment <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built by Rajeev Chhabra & Vishal Singh Rajput, PropFTX brings the concept of fractional real estate investment to India. With a visibly large age gap between the two founders, Kunal was quick to notice and ask the story of how they met. Rajeev responded by sharing that they met on LinkedIn and clicked instantly. With the former\u2019s huge real estate experience, the two got together to build PropFTX. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did PropFTX Get A Deal? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With an ask of \u20b91 crore for 1.5% equity in the company, PropFTX managed to build a pre revenue business. However, there were several questions around the relevance of this business concept for the Indian market as well as trust factors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Startup 3: Eight Times Eight- Chess Classes <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Six childhood friends, Athul Krishna, Abhijith Mohan, Arijith Mohan, Adesh Joshi, Manu Manikandan, and Chandar Raju, got together in the pandemic to teach kids critical thinking through their online chess academy, Eight Times Eight. Little did they know that they would represent India in the Commonwealth & Asian Games. Their pitch was quite interesting as they showed a demo of a chess player\u2019s focus by playing a game with Kunal where the opponent from their team was blindfolded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Namita made it very clear from the beginning that she has never played chess ever since she was a kid so that they don\u2019t invite her for the demo and Anupam joked about how chess wasn\u2019t even invented when Namita was born. Amidst all the fun and jokes, the founders proposed an ask of \u20b950 lakhs for 5% equity in the company but did they get a deal? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
