Shark Tank India Season 4, Episode 14: “Milte Hai Fir Market Mein” – Will the Sharks See Potential in Wearable Tech, Animation, and AI for Autism?

This week’s episode of Shark Tank India Season 4 brought a diverse range of pitches, showcasing entrepreneurs with bold ideas that could potentially revolutionize industries. From wearable tech and animation to early autism detection powered by AI, the Sharks had their hands full with some truly innovative businesses.

The panel for this episode featured some of India’s most successful entrepreneurs: Anupam Mittal, Founder of Shaadi.com, Peyush Bansal, Founder & CEO of Lenskart, Varun Dua, Co-founder of Acko General Insurance, Vineeta Singh, CEO of Sugar Cosmetics, and Aman Gupta Co-founder & CMO of boAt. With such a powerhouse team of investors, the stakes were high for the entrepreneurs looking to secure a deal.

7 Ring: The Wearable Payment Solution

First up, we had 7 Ring, a wearable gadget that’s transforming the way we make payments. Founded by Vijay Khubchandani, 7 Ring allows users to make contactless payments by simply placing their hand near a POS machine. It works seamlessly, doesn’t need charging, and doesn’t require pairing with a smartphone—just a quick swipe of the hand, and you’re good to go.

What’s more impressive is the journey behind 7 Ring. After facing initial backlash, Vijay and his team bounced back stronger after seven years of perfecting the product. With in-house manufacturing and R&D, they’ve created a wearable solution that could make everyday transactions easier, especially for travelers. Their ask was ₹75 Lakhs for 1% equity, and while the Sharks were intrigued, Aman Gupta joked, “Milte hai fir market mein,” meaning we’ll see each other in the market. The real question was whether this wearable tech could truly scale and compete in the growing fintech space.

The Future Animations: Taking Indian Animation Global

Next, we had The Future Animations, a company led by Rohit Thakur and Anmol Pandey, that’s looking to bring Indian animation to the global stage. They offer high-quality animation services at affordable rates by hiring top global artists. What sets them apart is their simple and effective client process — they get client approvals at every step, ensuring smooth communication and no complications.

With 99% international organic customers, their business model has clearly resonated in global markets. The ask? ₹50 Lakhs for 2.5% equity. While the Sharks appreciated their approach, Aman Gupta raised a concern about the long-term viability of the animation industry, pointing out that it could be quickly impacted by AI. “This industry gets old quickly and will be affected by AI,” he warned. The question now was whether The Future Animations could continue to grow in a space where technology evolves rapidly.

Ai.gnosis: Early Autism Detection with AI

Finally, the Sharks were introduced to Ai.gnosis, an AI-powered tool designed to provide early detection of autism in just 5 minutes. Founded by Raksheet Jain and Divyansh Mangal, Ai.gnosis offers not only a fast and low-cost diagnosis but also consultations with experts, making it a comprehensive solution for both families and professionals. With 17 features and a B2B business model, Ai.gnosis has the potential to transform the way autism is detected and treated, especially for clients in the healthcare and education sectors.

Their ask was ₹50 Lakhs for 4% equity, and while the Sharks were impressed by the potential, they remained cautious. Aman Gupta raised concerns about the future of AI in healthcare, suggesting that AI-driven solutions could be easily disrupted. Could Ai.gnosis scale its impact and make early autism detection accessible to more people, or would it face challenges from a rapidly advancing tech landscape?

Each of these entrepreneurs brought a unique vision to the table — from 7 Ring’s innovative wearable payment solution, to The Future Animations’ global ambitions in animation, and Ai.gnosis’ game-changing tool for early autism detection. But the real question remains: Will they secure a deal from the Sharks, or will they need to tweak their models to convince the investors that they’re ready for the next level?
