I completed my post graduation in 2014 and joined an Insurance broking firm through campus placements. E-commerce was growing at a super fast pace and I aspired to be a part of it. I followed the HR team for months for a suitable opening. My journey in Snapdeal finally began in February 2015 as a Key Account Manager. As the Business went through the various pivots of structure changes, I got the opportunity to become a part of the National key account management team. Within a span of 3 years, I have been promoted twice and I am now a Category Manager.
Snapdeal has taught me to look beyond the world of assumptions. I have learned from the leaders the skill of working with data. This key learning has been the core of many important and successful initiatives that I took in my business vertical. With this new competence up my sleeve, I am confident to walk up to my leaders and founders to share any new ideas. One of the best things about working here is the appreciation one gets for all the hard work. I have won the Rockstar award consecutively for the last three Diwali seasons.
