As a professional, I’ve always aspired to work in an organization that gives me the space to learn and explore new things. I got the opportunity to work with many online portals right after my MBA in 2011. I decided to move back to Delhi when I got the opportunity to join the operations excellence team at Snapdeal. The learning curve at Snapdeal has been very enriching. The culture encourages you to be curious, find answers to unsaid challenges, analyze the pain points and recommend solutions. We are equipped with all the tools to work and analyse data. It always feels that one is working real time with customers to ensure a smooth and easy interaction.
My manager respects the ownership that I take for my work. This relationship with the team is a reflection of the work culture that respects individuals. Leaders take time to appreciate efforts and acknowledge all the hard work. Even in turbulent times, we stood strong together. The conversations with my managers and the leadership at that time were re-assuring. We only focused on our goals, and it has worked very well.
Within 3 years, I have been promoted thrice with extended areas of my responsibility. I am loving every bit of my journey at Snapdeal. I am quite proud of my decision to join Snapdeal 3.5 years back.
