My father, a general merchant, runs a shop in Bijnor. With the growing education expenses, I had started to work even while I was studying. My day would start early, at six am, with tuition classes, and then on to college for the most part of the day. I had also taken up part time job with BSNL as a data entry operator. It was exhausting. The struggles were many, but I was inspired by my father who had worked so hard all these years to give us a comfortable childhood. It was about time for me to become his right hand!
I joined Snapdeal as a senior executive in the Commercials team in 2012. What excited me most was the plethora of opportunities that came along as the company geared up to take big strides in the E-commerce space. With the fast pace of growth, I got the opportunity to work across all the domains in Finance. Today, I find myself equipped with the knowledge of working in every vertical and this has instilled a lot of confidence in me as a professional. I have been promoted thrice in five years. I am now working as an Assistant Manager with the AP team.
