In Episode 16 of Shark Tank India season 4, the stakes were higher than ever as the Sharks listened to pitches ranging from personal care for kids to AI-powered health tech and modern twists on traditional wear. As always, the atmosphere was filled with sharp debates, tough questions, and a dash of humor. From heated discussions to witty remarks, the episode proved that when the Sharks are serious, they really mean business—but they also know how to keep things lighthearted.
This episode featured a power-packed panel of Sharks, each bringing their unique expertise to the table: Vineeta Singh, the dynamic CEO of Sugar Cosmetics; Namita Thapar, the sharp Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Peyush Bansal, the visionary CEO of Lenskart; Kunal Bahl, the strategic Co-Founder of Snapdeal and Titan Capital; and Anupam Mittal, the founder of the renowned platform Shaadi.com. With such a strong and diverse panel, it was clear that the entrepreneurs would have to bring their A-game to win over these formidable investors.
Tikitoro: Safe Skin Care for Kids and Teens
First up was Tikitoro, a personal care brand founded by Prasanna Vasanadu, designed to offer chemical-free, paraben-free, and sulfate-free skincare for children and teenagers. With an ask of Rs.14 crores for 2% equity, Tikitoro aimed to revolutionize how kids and teens care for their skin. However, the Sharks were skeptical, with Kunal Bahl calling it “unfundable” and Peyush suggesting they shut down the “fractional ecosystem.” Despite the tough feedback, the pitch highlighted a growing concern in skincare that many parents may be looking for alternatives for their children.

Ashva: AI-Powered Knee Health Wearable
Next up was Ashva, an AI-powered wearable designed to improve knee health post-surgery. Given that 2.5 lakh knee replacement surgeries occur annually in India, this wearable aims to monitor and diagnose knee health to prevent future injuries. The founder asked for ₹50 lakhs in exchange for 1.25% equity. While the Sharks were intrigued by the potential of Ashva, they wanted to see more before committing. Anupam was keen to take a closer look, while Vineeta cheekily urged him to “push Anupam” into taking action. Kunal, ever the jokester, added, “Aap thoda premature karlijiye,” bringing some comic relief to the intense discussions.

Aseem by Aseemshakti: The Saree for the Modern Nari
The last pitch came from Aseem by Aseemshakti, with a modern twist on the traditional saree. Swati, the founder, introduced a saree that could be worn in just 5 seconds—without the need for a petticoat—offering convenience and comfort for today’s busy women. With a pocket integrated into the saree, it’s a nod to both practicality and tradition. Swati asked for Rs.50 lakhs for 2.5% equity. While the Sharks appreciated the innovation, they were uncertain about the product’s scalability, did Swati steal a deal?
