Shark Tank India Season 4, Episode 13: Kunal Says, “Kam Dealein Karta Hoon Par Seriously Karta Hoon” But Did He Make One?

Episode 13 of Shark Tank India Season 4 was an absolute treat, bringing in a mix of cutting-edge ideas and heartfelt pitches that had both the Sharks and the audience on the edge of their seats. From life-changing prosthetics to a footwear brand celebrating Indian artistry, and a simple yet effective billing solution, the episode was full of surprises, passion, and some interesting debates.

From Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Kunal Bahl, founder of Snapdeal and Titan Capital, to Ritesh Agarwal, CEO of OYO Rooms, Anupam Mittal, founder of Shaadi.com and Aman Gupta, co-founder of Boat, the panel of Sharks was ready to judge and invest in ideas they believed had the potential to change the game.

The first pitch came from FUPRO, a company that’s revolutionizing the prosthetics industry. Founded by Nimish Mehra and Cyril Joe Baby, FUPRO has already touched the lives of over 15,000 people with its innovative products. What’s truly remarkable about FUPRO is its use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to create highly customized upper-body prosthetics, which makes them a game-changer in the field.

Aman Gupta was particularly impressed with their potential, saying Indian brands could do “crazy stuff,” and FUPRO is definitely one of them. The ask? Rs.60 Lakhs for 1% equity. The Sharks were clearly intrigued, but the big question was whether this innovative product could scale. Kunal Bahl, with his signature humor, added some levity to the situation with his playful remark, “Kam dealein krta hoon par seriously krta hoon.” Despite the jokes, it was clear that they were all taking this pitch seriously. Could FUPRO’s tech-driven prosthetics make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities, or would it be too niche for the market?

Next up, Kanvas with a K as the founder said “the world is Komal’s Canvas”, a unique footwear brand that blends India’s rich regional arts with modern fashion. Founded by Komal Panchal, the brand creates footwear that tells a story through its intricate craftsmanship. What’s even more exciting is that Komal plans to expand her vision beyond shoes and into scarves, wallets, belts, and other accessories — all while celebrating and promoting Indian artistry.

Komal’s ask was Rs.60 Lakhs for 6% equity. The Sharks were captivated by her vision, and Kunal Bahl couldn’t help but admire the mix of rustic and classic in her designs, saying, “Rustic bhi aur classic bhi.” But as the Sharks dug into the scalability of her business, the question lingered: Could Kanvas break through in the crowded fashion market? Would they take a chance on a business that marries art with commerce so beautifully?

The last pitch of the day was Ezo, a billing solution designed to simplify the process for businesses. Founded by Gaurav Kumar Kate, Makarand Kate, and Rishikesh Sakarkar, Ezo allows businesses to generate customized, professional invoices with just a few clicks. From adding custom fields like Batch Numbers to integrating UPI and bank details, Ezo makes billing easy and efficient. They even offer a variety of professional templates for GST and Tally, and you can print in A4, A5, or thermal printer formats.

The ask? Rs.50 Lakhs for just 0.33% equity. The pitch quickly turned into a fun and lively discussion with plenty of banter. Ritesh Agarwal humorously called it a “dukaan ke dukh harta” (a solution for the everyday troubles of small businesses). But in the midst of all the jokes, the serious question remained: Could this simple yet powerful solution stand out in a world where business tools are constantly evolving? Would Ezo be able to build a loyal customer base, or would it get lost in the crowd?

With FUPRO working to change lives with its prosthetics, Kanvas bringing Indian artistry to the world of fashion, and Ezo simplifying billing for businesses, Episode 13 of Shark Tank India Season 4 was full of passion, creativity, and some lively moments. It’s hard to say who will get the deal they’re hoping for, but one thing’s for sure – these entrepreneurs have left a lasting impression.
